Will add info this weekend (Just wanted to post the picture)

~*Ellen Gray*~

Ellen created a set of charms for her submission.
Shrink plastic, mounted on bingo chips and buttons mixed with beads.

Ellen sent me this beautiful polymer clay cane bead charm as a hostess gift.
I love it!
Thank you Ellen!

~*Donna Barnitz*~

A charming set made by Donna B. The glass piece is actually mounted over a pink rose, thus the leaves and stem.
The photo does not capture the delicate beauty of the image.

~*Elizabeth Woodford*~

This is a bead that Elizabeth made from rolled up foreign text.
It looks like it might be Farsi, Tamil, or perhaps Arabic?
Not sure!

~*Monica Magness*~

She inspired me to begin this exchange... Here she is, ~*Monica Magness*~ and her collaged fabric and paper charm, mixed media delights. This piece says "Begin"
Each of her charms are different.

~*Chris Hansen*~

Chris Hansen calls these charms her "White Knuckle Ride" Charms.
She made them by using expensive and sensitive glass, while still being a bit of a newbie.
So she felt as if she had to dive right in and try her best.
Feeling a bit like she was on a super fantastic *scary* roller coaster ride... She held on to the rail so tight, it turned her knuckles white.
Metaphorically speaking that is.
Click on the first picture to see the sparkle of the glass.

~*Studio Rose*~

Musical butterfly collage, mounted on polymer clay.
The edges glow in gold. Made by Lisa of ~*Studio Rose*~

~*Sabii Wabii*~

Plastic bobbins wound with colorful ribbon. So festive!

~*Brenda Wampler*~

This lovely soldered bottle charm was made by Brenda Wampler in Texas, USA

~*Terri Ventura*~

Terri sent an array of lovely pendant size assemblage/collage charms all sparkling and pretty.
Each one is packed within a painted, stamped and embossed box, filled with a green moss.

~*Martha's Menagerie*~

Dollops of glass surrounded by beautiful florish reliefs created by using polymer clay and paint.

Collaged polymer clay confections, crackled and aged to perfection.
Martha's Etsy shop, so you can buy her charms if you want to!

Woman in my life...

Cancer is something that does claim lives, but it is only just one form of a man killing disease.
The most deadly in my opinion is apathy.
So this is an effort to FIGHT apathy, and DO SOMETHING.

Until there is a cure, there is a fight, and hope.

I dedicate my set of charms to

No sign up deadline

Please feel welcome to join us.
This is a 12 for 10 swap, You send in 12 WONDERFUL loving and creative charms, and you will get 10 assorted ones back.
Please do not send in junk, and read the previous details in the first couple of posts below.
Since many keep asking why it is not a larger number to swap since so many are signed up, please consider the fact that this is more about the 2 charity charms than being a swap.
The extras are "bonuses" for each swapper to look forward to.
This is not a swap for the sake of being a swap, it is an opportunity for artists to gather together and do something active.

Thank you.

Sizes & Specs

Please note that the charms can be made of any material so long as it is sturdy enough to wear. And maybe get wet if someone washed their hands while wearing them on a bracelet. The size is up to each artist.
PLEASE keep them small enough to be considered a *CHARM*.
Smaller than one and one half inches with the findings is usually the standard.
Smaller than 1/2 inch may be too small. They should be works of your own art.
Please do not buy premade pink charms for the swap.
You may incorporate them in your charm, but they cannot be *the* charm on their own.

Presentation & Construction

If you would like to join us for this special event, please leave a comment.
All that I ask is that ALL of your charms are sturdy enough to wear and do not fall apart too easily. Remember to include a jumpring, or create a strong loop so that your charm can be hung. Keep them safe too- no toxic materials please.

Please check all of the charms and packaging in the light for any stray fuzz or pet hairs.

Do label each piece with your name and email address and if you want, feel free to include your Blog, Etsy, Ebay or general website so those who get your charms can contact you.

If you want, you can pack each charm in a mini ziplock bag, organza pouch, a home made pouch etc.
You can also send each charm tied to a tag or mounted on a card, and then add your info to that.
Keep it fun, full of light, love, hope, PINK and if you can, make them sparkle!

~*THINK PINK CHARM EXCHANGE!*~

I am organizing a fun and fabulous artistic handmade art charms swap.

This is a 12 for 10 swap.
This means that each artist sends in 12 really nice handmade art charms made with PINK tones and colors and will get 10 back from a mix of other artists to keep. Send them to me by the 1st week in August.
The extra 2 pieces sent in from each artist, will be used to create bracelets which will be used as a prize for the THINK PINK event... More details will follow!
If you are interested in joining, please leave me a comment. This swap is limited to 100 sign ups.
I do have the experience to handle this volume, in case you are wondering about it. Join the fun!
